IHOPU New England Update 3/1

2/28
After their commissioning on Wednesday night at the awakening service at IHOP–KC, the IHOPU team began to leave in shifts from Kansas City to their new location in New England. A few travelers stopped and did ministry excursions along the way, but all the IHOPU students arrived safe and sound at JHOP Boston on Sunday night. They met together, preparing their hearts for the forty days of fasting and prayer, as they contend for the Holy Spirit to move in their midst and in the surrounding New England area.
Two churches graciously allowed the IHOPU students to use their facilities for the full 40 days. Sunday night, students settled into their new home, camping out on the wood floors with air mattresses and makeshift bedrooms. They were busy taking care of details like meals and how to use the subway system known as “the T.”  Walking will be their main mode of transportation. Students are feeling a stirring in their hearts and an excitement about what the Lord is about to do as we come before Him with intercession and fasting. Over seventy-five universities have accepted the invitation for the forty-day Daniel fast and this has been a great encouragement as we cry out for the Lord to move on college campuses all over the U.S.

If you are a college group that is interested in joining in the forty-day call to prayer and fasting on your campus, please register at JHOPboston.com.

Please pray for the IHOPU students to be unified as a group, for the Holy Spirit to fall on students across the nation, and that the Lord would move in power in New England and in college campuses across the U.S.

Schedule
Tonight, Monday, March 1, IHOPU students will be launching the forty-day fast and time of consecration with Lou Engle at Ruggles Baptist Church. The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is open to the public: Ruggles Baptist Church, 874 Beacon Street, Boston, MA.
Tuesday night, March 2, there will be a prayer meeting at the same location and time.
